Riley is an adorable, eloquent, compelling protagonist who’s impossible not to love, and Symptoms of Being Humanmade a huge impression on me. ![]() ![]() It’s a very powerful, beautifully written story about a gender fluid teenager trying to make their way in the world. If you haven’t read Jeff Garvin’s first novel Symptoms of Being Human, you should do yourself a favor and do so. ![]()
